Our Story

IntelliRoute Africa emerged from a passion to revolutionize chess education in Kenya and across Africa. Founded in 2019 at Egerton University, we recognized the untapped potential of chess as a powerful tool for cognitive development and strategic thinking enhancement. Our founders, experienced chess players and educators, saw the need for professional, technology-enhanced chess instruction that could serve students of all ages and skill levels.

Our approach combines traditional chess mastery with modern educational technology, creating personalized learning experiences that extend far beyond the chessboard. We believe that chess education should be accessible, engaging, and transformative, developing critical thinking skills that benefit students in academic, professional, and personal contexts.

Today, IntelliRoute Africa stands as Kenya's premier chess education provider, having trained over 500 students and delivered more than 1000 lessons. Our commitment to excellence, innovation, and student success continues to drive our mission of transforming lives through strategic thinking development.
